![]() ![]() The level 32 monster is located on the southern end of The Sickle in Dhalmekia, and here’s the exact location: This is a tiger-like creature that has made its home on the dead-end road east of The Jaw. The Grimalkin hunt gets added to the bounty board during the Out of the Shadow main quest. Throw in a few ground finishers and you should be able to take out each insect one at a time. You can actually trap grounded Soul Stingers in a loop by using the Lunge ability into a magic attack over and over again. Though, after you land a few hits, they’ll drop for a few seconds, allowing you to get more hits in. You’ll need to use aerial moves to deal real damage here, and sadly, Garuda can’t pull the insects down to the ground since they’re boss enemies without stun meters. Their Apipuncture move is a perfect example of this – they all try to sting you one after the other in quick succession. There are five Soul Stingers in total, and they tend to attack as a group, instead of behaving like a mob of random, separate enemies. You’ll find them next to abandoned homes on the far east side of The Fields of Corava. This mark is actually a swarm of level 32 insect-like vilekin that have settled down in eastern Dhalmekia. The Soul Stingers hunt is unlocked during the Out of the Shadow main quest. You can also use Clive’s Deadly Embrace ability from the Garuda path to pull Aruna out of the sky when she’s staggered. Stay close to Aruna as you attack and keep an eye out for her slow swipes to get your dodges and counters in for extra damage. The melee attacks consist of charges and wing swipes that you can dodge, thanks to their slow startup animations. The one projectile she uses can be nullified and blasted back by using Clive’s Heatwave ability in his Phoenix path. The monster uses both close and long-range wind attacks, but they’re all relatively slow. Here's the exact location:Īruna behaves similarly to the harpies you fight earlier in the story when taking on Benedikta, the Dominant of Garuda. Her real name is Aruna, and she’s a winged harpy that can be found floating near the middle of the Clareview field. This is another C-Rank monster, located in Claireview, Sanbreque. The Angel of Death hunt is unlocked after The Gathering Storm main quest. The key to this fight is staying as close as possible while using whichever offensive moves you want, then dodging out of the AoE attacks that are highly telegraphed through glowing spots on the ground. It’ll try to keep its distance while using ranged attacks over and over again. However, if you get too close, it’ll use an AoE barrier to push you back. The monster will also teleport and shoot at you with an eye laser that is also easy to avoid. It’s a C-Rank monster, so located south of Sorrowise in Rosaria.Īhriman fires slow-moving projectiles that can easily be dodged, or countered with the Heatwave ability in Clive’s Phoenix skill tree.
